Clause 18 - Making of Regulations
Clause 18 requires the Department to consult with the Utility Regulator, the system operator, the distributor, electricity suppliers and other that the Department considers relevant before making regulations.
Regulations under clauses 5, 7,8, 9,15,16,19 and 20 will be subject to negative resolution
Regulations under clauses, 2,3,10,12,13,14 and 17 will be subject to affirmative resolution and will thus automatically be debated at plenary.
