Clause 5 - Allocation rounds

Clause 5 requires the Department to make an allocation round for Contracts for Difference from time to time with limitations or conditions which may vary for each allocation round. The Department will be obliged to publish relevant notices, issue standard terms and publish rules for each allocation round - this is described as an allocation scheme. The Department may also make regulations in respect of how generators are to apply and how applications are to be adjudged as successful.
