Making the Internet a Safer Place

Overview

A group of people are working on an idea to help reduce violence against women and girls.

They are thinking about creating an app to encourage positive and respectful content online, and help steer people away from harmful or negative content.

The idea includes using a computer system (called an algorithm) that acts like a filter. This filter could work best in places where internet use is more controlled, like a company or school network.

This project is still at an early stage. The group creating the app would like to hear the views of young people. Please answer the questions below to share your thoughts.
