Why your views matter

The Committee is gathering evidence in relation to a proposed replacement EU act: COM 2022/748 amending Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures. The final agreed text can be found here

The act will be published in the Official Journal of the EU in due course.

The DSC is gathering views to put it in a more informed position when the published act is notified to it by Cabinet Office. Read more about the Committee process here.

Specifically, the DSC is seeking your views on whether applying/not applying the act would have a significant negative impact specific to everyday life of communities in Northern Ireland in a way that is liable to persist.

It is open to any organisation or individual to respond.
