The Independent Remuneration Board ('the Board') is responsible for setting the salaries and pensions for Members of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLAs).

The Board welcomes your views on the salaries that should be paid to MLAs who will be elected next May to serve in the 2027-2032 Assembly mandate.

This survey outlines the Board's key proposals and seeks your feedback. You can also read the Board's proposals in full in its draft Determination.

The Board will also seek the views of MLAs, the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission and the Assembly Members' Pension Trustees.
